With the start of every New Year we all have the right to be optimistic! Especially after the last couple of years, when business has been a challenge like we have not seen in decades. Many organizations have not made it through – and others are just barely hanging on. And for the vast majority of us, we find ourselves looking back to see what we have learned about our business and the clients/donors we serve, evaluating potential new markets, and building a strategy for moving forward.
Of course there are many more questions we face than answers. New technology along with the latest, greatest applications have us reaching in many new directions. Marketing used to be fairly simple – you chose between print, radio or television. The dominant strategy was to appeal to the masses and try to reach as many people for the least amount of money per contact. Our choices now include: internet, e-mail, social media, video, mobile marketing and much more – along with the basic three. Which one(s) are right for your organization? That can be a tough question and the answer is definitely not the same for any two companies.
Just as we did last year, C L Graphics would like to challenge you to plan out your future. We believe that those organizations that have a clear strategy in place will continue to thrive. There may well continue to be some rough patches in our recovery, however as Yogi Berra has said… “If you don’t know where you are going, you will wind up somewhere else.”
With this year’s Marketing Calendar we have information and insight into some of the newer media options available – we hope that these challenge you to think outside of the box when preparing your marketing plan.
